From mix to master.

Upload your stereo mix, let Audio Lab analyse it, then choose either a general Mastering Character, a Wolffman Genre Target, or the Master Assistant recommendation. Press Play once to arm the realtime engine. A Original and B Master can then be switched while the track keeps running.

For the cleanest result, upload a WAV/AIFF-style lossless mix with no clipping and sensible headroom. Mastering can enhance a good mix; it cannot remove distortion that is already printed into the source.

Targets, not rigid recipes.

Genre targets set a tonal, dynamics, stereo and loudness character. They are deliberately adaptive: the uploaded track's measured peak, crest factor and loudness determine how hard the profile is allowed to push.

Radio presets are denser and more forward. Club-oriented presets emphasise impact and controlled low end. Reggae, Country and Middle of the Road preserve more transient movement. Use Intensity to move from a light interpretation toward the full target.

Trim silence and shape the edges.

Drag the IN and OUT markers on the waveform, type exact seconds, or park the playhead and use SET IN / SET OUT. AUTO TRIM SILENCE finds useful programme boundaries without destructively altering the uploaded file.

Fade In and Fade Out are applied to both B preview and the rendered WAV. Keep fades short for tight dance masters; use a longer fade-out when a musical tail should disappear naturally.

Realtime comparison.

The B engine is pre-warmed during playback so selecting a genre or changing a knob does not require a render pass. Parameter changes are smoothed to avoid zipper noise. A Original remains the untouched source path; B Master is the active mastering chain.

A louder signal can sound 'better' even when it is not. LEVEL MATCH temporarily attenuates B Master for a fairer tonal/dynamics comparison. Turn it off again to judge final commercial loudness.

Power without uncontrolled clipping.

The Tube Glue Compressor starts in a safe Clean Glue state from the first preview frame. Tube Color is integrated into the same circuit, uses a subtle wet/dry saturation curve and automatic level compensation. The final chain combines compression, saturation, stereo control, limiting and a last-resort oversampled safety clip stage. Aggressive presets use extra true-peak margin because lossy streaming encoders can create inter-sample overs.

If the uploaded file is already very loud, Adaptive Gain Guard reduces additional makeup instead of forcing unnecessary level into the limiter.

24-bit master WAV.

Export renders the same processing configuration used by B Master, including trim points and fades. A safety pass analyses the result and automatically reduces makeup if the rendered peak is too high.

Streaming services can apply their own playback loudness normalisation. The Genre Matrix therefore treats loudness values as sonic-character targets, not promises about playback volume on every platform.
